We all had a nice day off. Such a wonderful national holiday. Just a day of nothing, like several in the spring months. The problem we all encounter is, like every Monday, that we have to get up to speed again. Whatever you did on Liberation Day (beers, drank, did some dancing or just nothing at all), starting up remains difficult. Here are some tips and tricks to promote the restart on Friday, to make the last day before the weekend a successful one.
Problems in the working week Perhaps you were enjoying your working week. The assignments are flying through and the concentration is high. But it already started at the beginning of the week. 'Are you going to do something fun on Liberation Day?' Experience shows that this is at the expense of concentration. Many people are free and who is stopping you from not taking Thursday off too? Yes, you may slow yourself down in your weekly rhythm, but hey: everyone is free, so why not you.
Festival of Game of Thrones But what are you going to do on this day off? Do you give in to your acquaintances who ask for your attention, do you go outside to enjoy the festivals on offer or do you stay indoors? Haven't gotten around to the new Game of Thrones episode yet that you can sit back and enjoy. All wonderful options, but the work remains.
Excellent final day Yet it is income again. Do you let yourself drift into the weekend or do you have to tackle your deadline? The start of the Giro, departing from Apeldoorn, is worth a look. What you could also do is fly off the starting blocks just like the riders. Here are some tips and tricks to end your working week with satisfaction: · Put the phone aside · Throw the remote control out the window · Don't think about the weekend · Set priorities for the final day · Keep the deadline · Ensure a tidy desk · Do one thing at a time, not everything at once · Drink enough (if the day off was a bit harder than expected)
Nice weekend! Hopefully it all worked out. The office chair was better than the couch. Concentration was at its best and the telephone remained untouched. The planning to meet the deadline has been completed and we are therefore sure: we are going into the weekend with a good feeling.
