Title: Marketing Director

Full-time/Part-time: Full-time

Hybrid: 4-days in office per week plus key in-person meetings & events

Experience Required: 7-years of relevant marketing and/or media experience

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree

About ****************** is a media and technology startup based in Seattle, Washington founded by Chef ************, a veteran chef, cookbook author, TV host, and frequent guest on TV shows like Today and Good Morning America. At ********, our mission is to teach people how to “Cook For Life.” We believe that the formula for living well is cooking more often, with real ingredients, and embracing the imperfection that makes cooking at home so joyful. ******** has raised >$2M in equity capital to fund its effort to become the digital home of culinary medicine.

About the role

The Marketing Director owns multidisciplinary marketing at ********. They oversee brand marketing, digital marketing, social media, YouTube, email marketing, influencer marketing, and our website. They run their own budget and allocate spend based on business needs and objectives. The Marketing Director works across our national ****** show, livestream cooking classes, and Content-as-a-Service (CaaS) business lines to achieve results for ******** and our clients. The Marketing Director reports directly to our COO.

Key responsibilities

- Own brand marketing, digital marketing, social media, YouTube, email marketing, influencer marketing, and our website
- Own budget performance, forecasting, and strategic planning for the marketing org
- Own relationship management with all the agencies and freelance partners that touch our marketing organization
- Lead creative direction across the brand
- Lead editorial planning across our channels, products, and services

How you’ll interact with other teams

- Collaborate with the Sales team on strategic editorial planning
- Partner with the Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure all needs of sponsors, funders, and clients are met in a timely and professional manner
- Work with the Business Operations team to ensure that budgets and forecasts are as accurate as possible and updated in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with members of our Leadership Team to drive creative direction
