I am a freelance technical writer living in the Netherlands. I write documentation in English on various IT topics, for example Data Warehouse architecture, ITIL, Open Banking, API documentation, Uniface and a lot of other subjects.
As a freelancer I have become familiar with a large variety of writing tools, for example Framemaker, AuthorIT, RoboHelp, Confluence and XMetal.
However, after 15 years or so of technical writing, I still think the ability (or the ambition) to write clearly is most important.
I'm also an experienced trainer / lecturer. I've taught complex IT topics in both English and Dutch at various levels.
And to use a terrible cliché, I'm used to "hitting the ground running".
