My leadership abilities and diverse cultural background have been integral in leading project and support teams,
including members at an off-shore location. With teams as small as six and as large as fifty-four, I understand
direct management and leadership through hierarchy. Moreover, I tailor my management style to fit the individual so that they get the feedback that they require to excel.

My knowledge and understanding of business processes in verticals including Retail, Complex Manufacturing,
Automotive and Food Manufacturing as well as IT Service Management itself have given me the ability to
improve a company and its Technology department. I've lead business process, master data and interface
design and implementation for merchandise forecasting, allocation and replenishment in Retail. I've designed
and implemented sales and service management processes to support Complex Manufacturing where multi-
level bills-of-materials were the primary driver of the sales cycle. I lead a mixed on-shore/off-shore team in the
support of Automotive sales, manufacturing and replenishment processes via EDI technologies. I designed and
implemented a sales-cycle process in Food Manufacturing to increase sales, reduce waste and reduce
manufacturing cycle time. Finally, I lead an Infrastructure and Operations team of more than fifty, including
budget oversight, where we improved the customer satisfaction and SLA of support tickets year-over-year,
reduced unscheduled system outages by more than fifty percent five years in a row, and reduced server
implementation time from six weeks to less than two days through private cloud and virtualization technologies.

I've been on more than fifteen implementations of SAP ECC, from 4.6c through 6.0 EhP6, including leadership
and solution architecture of five implementations. I implemented an enterprise monitoring solutions to monitor
more than 2000 network devices; four SANs; 1300 servers – including 700 virtual machines and their associated hosts and pools; 200 instances of MS SQL Server and 6 Oracle databases; and more than 200 java-based application servers and their associated JBoss JVMs. I lead an eCommerce engineering team to reduce the unscheduled web-site outages from more than two per month to less than two per year. I lead a DBA team to establish performance, usage, support and backup metrics to ensure the highest integrity of the company's data.

With a deep understanding of ERP packages, eCommerce, Infrastructure & Operations, and business processes
in multiple verticals, my expertise defines enterprise architecture and executes a technical strategy. In addition to guidance at the strategic level, I can also work on tactical and operational challenges to implement or improve upon world-class information technologies. Finally, my clear understanding of value-chains and supporting services in a corporate environment allow me to provide insight required to maximize investment in Application and Infrastructure portfolios.
