Marco holds a PhD in theoretical physics (CSSM, Australia) and Msc in mathematical finance (CCFEA, UK). He has over 15 years of experience in Market Research, Data Science and Analytics, working for Ales, Toluna, Repucom and Nielsen.
He worked as Director of Global Data Applications at Nielsen for 8 years.
He successfully led, designed and delivered data science solutions to a huge range of brands and rights holders across the globe in the sports and entertainment industry, including Heineken, HSBC, FIFA, UEFA, Olympic Games, Premier League, NBA, Manchester City amongst many others.
Marco founded SophusLab in April 2022 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
