I'm an experienced target oriented analyst with an innate teacher in me: caring, patient, encouraging, organised... and a lot of attention to detail. Over the past 10 years, I have taught adults, children, and adolescents. In addition to Dutch I master the Spanish and English language quite well and absolutely love to motivate, to inspire people.
Considering my broad interest, passion for writing, and strong sense of justice I'm really into research, media or communication roles however. As one who always seeks the truth and cares a lot about authenticity, I aim to be a 'watchdog' and to make the world a better place in this way... because all change starts with awareness!
Environmental justice in Latin America is my specialisation, but I have also developed knowledge about other kinds of crime in the region, indigenous activism, rural and urban development, consequences and causes of climate change in the Global South, extraction projects such as fracking, renewable energy, UN international law and policymaking and a circular economy. I have written academic and journalistic articles about such topics.
I'm really eager to learn from others and open to new opportunities. It's important for me to have variety at work and interest in the ultimate goal to get the most out of myself. I always make time to help someone out, have a lot of willpower and am a real Capricorn at the workplace. Honesty and reliability are my number one priority.
