My work experience as a technical author and instructional design and technology consultant over the past 11 years has enabled me to gain extensive knowledge about incorporating supported technologies into writing, teaching, researching, and learning. The primary focus of my work is to assist on various projects, in developing quality online courses with a combination of learning technologies, such as MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, Articulate Storyline, and Captivate. I frequently provide training and consulting on a variety of available instructional technologies to faculty to meet specific instructional and learning objectives. I have regularly conducted evaluations for various online courses by using course quality rubrics and feedback surveys. Based on the data and results generated from the course quality evaluation, I work closely with faculty and instructors to make continuous revisions and improvements to the design and organization of courses. In cooperation with my instructional design team, I have organized and facilitated workshops to orient new instructors and faculty in optimizing instructional outcomes with the use of technology in teaching and learning. Furthermore, I have developed and actively maintained a knowledgebase of support solutions to make technology-enhanced teaching an effective and rewarding experience.
