Job description

One of our major designers is currently seeking a freelance structured/tailored wovens designer to cover a maternity leave.

They operate on a Hybrid schedule with their office in NYC and are looking for someone to start in September. Role duration is at least 6 months.

The role would included Designing Outerwear, Suiting, Jacket, One-Piece, and Bottom styles for seasonal Collection & Gowns deliveries

- Designing across categories for Bi-Annual “Classics” Collection

- Utilizing both hand and digital sketching

- Creating seasonal concept, trend, and silhouette research

Designing Outerwear, Suiting, Jacket, One-Piece, and Bottom styles for seasonal Collection & Gowns deliveries

- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive line and timely calendar

- Creating and maintaining linsheets for cross-functional organization

- Working directly with patternmakers for style development
